Yesterday, Charice tweeted out another for her fans, thanking them thanking us (Chasters) for our support.
Hi everybody. Thank you for all of the support and condolences. This has been a difficult time. But, my family and I are healing and I hope to see you all at my performance in San Francisco, November 19th. Again, Thank you so much and I love you all.
Charice posted a message for all Chasters on her official wesbite. Read it below:
Dear Fans – I want to thank you so much for being so supportive over the last few very difficult weeks. However, I am looking forward to performing in San Francisco on Saturday, November 19 and Vegas on Saturday, November 25.
No matter what anybody says, it’s important to stay true to you are. Please know that, Chasters.
Charice is making sure she doesn’t let herself down, according to The Sun Daily:
“A lot of people tried to change me,” says Charice, who was born in San Pedro, Laguna, in the Philippines, and whose real name is Charmine Clarice Relucio Pempengco.
“They wanted me to be a totally different Charice, one you will not recognise.”
But Charice was determined to stick to her Asian roots. “It’s really important for me to be who I am. I’m not going to wear stuff that I’m not comfortable with and I won’t do something that I don’t want to do.”
Charice’s father was laid to rest today, November 5th, 2011, at the Pasture of Heaven Memorial Park in Barangay Sala, Philippines. After delivering her eulogy for her father, Charice reportedly broke down several times, and even fainted.
“Sana man lamang ay binigyan mo kami ng pagkakataong magkita at magkasama ng Daddy ko (I wish that you had given us a chance to be with my daddy),” an emotional Charice said in her eulogy, addressing Angel Capili, 35, tagged as the suspect in the killing of Pempengco. Capili is now locked up at the San Pedro, Laguna police jail.
“Kapag buhay ang inutang, buhay din ang kabayaran (a life for a life),” Charice told The STAR during the last night of her father’s wake at the Divine Mercy Chapel in Tunasan, Muntinlupa City.
Charice, 19, was only three years old when her parents separated.
“Daddy, please bear in your heart that we looked for you several times. But our paths never crossed. We did not find you,” she said.
On the last night of the wake, Charice said she felt her father’s presence when she took a nap inside the chapel.
“I woke up to the smell of cigarette and I also saw smoke forming in mid-air. But the room was air-conditioned and there was no one smoking inside. I was with some members of my family in the room but I was the only one who felt his presence,” Charice shared. – Philstar.com
Apparently, there are a few people out there who are questioning Charice’s relationship with her father– which is understandable, considering he tried to kill her mother. However, we know Charice would never lie to the public, and as Chasters, we should trust her with every word that she says.
IT’S unfortunate how Charice lost her father, Ricky Pempengco in such a violent death last November 1.
Reports say that her father was in a drinking session before he was stabbed to death. He was buying cigarettes from a sari-sari store when the assailant, later named as Angel Capili, approached and stabbed him with an icepick three times. He slumped on the canal lifeless. Before the stabbing, it is said he had met a lot of trouble with his peers.
While Charice has amassed wealth and fame abroad, is it a probable fact that she has shared just a little of them with her father. Was she lying when she said in her Twitter account that everything was fine with her and her father before his death? Just asking… - Journal.com.php
